Noughties Teenage Lullaby was commissioned in response to Shae Myles' 2023 solo exhibition 'Hush Lil Baby'. The performance functioned to activate the life-sized Polly Pocket sculpture, drawing upon memories of growing up queer in the early noughties,. It was soundtracked by nostalgic favourites such as Holly Valance, Stacie Orrico, and problematic favourites like t.A.T.u.
